Harley-Davidson Recall Notice

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall announcement. Calling back all model year 2012 and some of 2013 Harley Davidson VRSCDX (V-ROD Night Rod Special). The models that are affected by this recall were made between June, 2011 and August 2012.

Recall Reasons:
“The license plate bracket assembly’s mounting screws may loosen and the assembly may separate from the rear tire which could cause the license plate bracket to rotate, possibly damaging the rear brake line.”

So far the recall is predicted to affect 2798 units.

Harley Davidson will contact owners of VRSCDX models, and will repair affected motorcycles free of charge. Owners can contact Harley Davidson at 1-414-343-4056.
